THIS CLASS IS IN PERSON ON MONDAY 1:30 – 3 PM (No Class on Victoria Day)
Students in this class are encouraged to find their own approach to art! It is time to use what they have learned and CREATE!
This advanced art program is made for homeschool students who has a passion for art and want to create bigger and better works of art. Students are given advanced projects to create freely with guidance from the teacher. In the pass students have created glass mosaics, clay figures and altered books.
Most importantly, they will become confident in the techniques they have already learned and be proud in the works of art they create. The skills the students will learn or improve include but are not limited to the following:
- Pottery (hand building and carving techniques)
- Drawing (still life, contour drawing etc)
- Painting (acrylic paint, colour mixing, etc.)
- Sculpture (creating mixed media art work using found objects, wire, etc.)
- Printmaking (natural prints and dyes, carving, stamp making)
Previous experience is required for this class, students must have taken Beginner Art at Arc Education Centre or had art classes in the past. Please contact us to see if your child is suitable for the advanced class.
Online classes will be conducted through Zoom, Arc will provide a kit at the beginning of every month to be picked up at Arc Education Centre in Richmond Hill. It will contain all the materials you will need for the month! Class sizes in person will be limited to 4-6 students and online classes will be 4 – 10 students.
START DATE VARIES DEPENDING ON THE SCHEDULE
Arc Education Centre does not provide prorating. There is a $5 late fee for late registrations after March 25. No refunds after March 28
New families are subject to a one time $30 registration fee. IN CASE OF A LOCKDOWN ALL CLASSES WILL MOVE ONLINE.
