Teresa is a team player and collaborative teacher at Arc Education Centre who specializes in focusing on effective writing and speaking strategies for all subjects such as French, English, History, etc. and supports students in preparing for EQAO, OSSLT, and IB. Her pedagogy in teaching is to nurture curiosity in her students.

Jenny

Arc Teacher

Jenny is a teacher at Arc Education Centre who specializes in teaching Cantonese Classes. She has a Master’s Degree in Education and is a native Cantonese speaker who has taught in elementary schools for 25 years. She enjoys teaching children in an interactive and fun environment. Her years of experience allows her to positively promote learning within all age groups.

Dennis the owner of Via Musica that has partnered with Arc Education Centre in providing music lessons in teaching instruments, history, and theory. Dennis has studied conducting, violin, music theory, jazz bass and theory. His years of experience in conducting and teaching in HK, USA, & Canada will help support students in their musical background under our Arc space.

Carmel

Arc Teacher

  • Masters of Teaching at the University of Toronto (Intermediate / Senior Division)

Carmel is an enthusiastic and passionate Ontario Certified teacher with 10 years of experience working with a range of students in a variety of subjects such as kinesiology, general science and art. She is currently at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE) obtaining her Masters of Teaching in the intermediate / Senior Division focusing on Health and Physical Education as well as general science. Her hope is to incorporate research driven pedagogical practices in her classes to engage students while supporting their academic needs.
